Deceptively Delicious
For my birthday Grammy bought me a new cookbook that gives you creative ways to hide vegetables in your child's food. The first night Blake and I fixed chocolate chip cookies the secret ingredient was chickpeas. Deceptive is the key word no deceiving my kid he picked out all the chickpeas. I was shocked to see him picking them out. The next morning I was more determined to try something else so I fixed french toast with squash puree. He ate it all. Since I have tried sweet potato pancakes, applesauce muffins with squash puree and banana bread Blake has tried everything and Eli of course doesn't care as long as he can eat it.

That is too funny her picked them all out. I really want that cookbook too. Do you find it easy to do the things in the book like all the purees?
That second picture looks EXACTLY like Mike when he was little!
We've been using that book. I love it. My kids are still a little leery. You're doing a great job! It takes a little prep time.
Mike can really benefit from this book to. It looks like a win win situation for the Logsdon household.
