The Oh No PJ's

So for Christmas I had this "great idea" to make Mike a pair of U of L pj pants. Chauntel made Mike a pair of "the rock" pants and he loves them. I enlisted the help of Aunt Benita, a very established seamstress( or so I thought) We get together and everything is going great until we realize that we had sewn the the wrong sides together. No big deal we just take the seam apart and start over, only to notice after sewing them again that we had made the same mistake. So once again we undo what we did and started over. I can't remember for sure but I want to say it happened one more time. Once we finally got the sides to match up and get almost done we notice something still is not right. I hold the pants up to me and it looks as though they may not even fit me. So we decide to add some of the extra fabric to the sides. To shorten the story they were now wide enough but were still very short. After all of this we used the wrong pattern. We used THE BOYS pattern. Aunt Benita was able to salvage some of the material and make Blake a pair of night pants.

Monkey see, Monkey do, Eli has to do it too.

At least you can say that they will be the most memorable pajamas in history. HA They look really cute on Blake! Maybe you should have just made some out of fleece and tied them all the way up the sides like the blankets Aunt B made for Blake. :-) That would have been easier anyway.

Ha Ha Ha. I don't think they have enough U of L pattern in production to fit Mike anyway.
